Learn about our corporate recruiter Erin Vyborney’s hobbies, day-to-day work, and background!

  • Full Name: Erin Vyborney
  • Job Title: Corporate Recruiter
  • Practice: Human Resources
  • When did you join Exsilio? June 2017
  • Hometown: Irvine, CA
  • How would you explain your role here at Exsilio to a stranger? I am the go-to person for bringing new talent aboard Exsilio! I am part of a two-person HR team where I focus on all aspects of recruiting.
  • What does a typical work day look like for you? I get into the office and grab a cup of coffee (of course) and then arrange my calendar to see what interviews or meetings I may have for the day. Typically, I am on the phone with potential candidates, collaborating with management to figure out best recruiting strategies, conducting in-person interviews, on-boarding new hires, etc.
  • What aspects of your job do you enjoy the most? I really enjoy speaking to new people every day! If it’s over the phone or in-person, I appreciate getting to know an individual and building new relationships with current employees and potential candidates that may join our organization.
  • What is the most valuable lesson you have learned so far at Exsilio? I have learned that no matter what level you are at, your voice is always heard here. The ability to speak up and contribute your ideas can make a big difference.
  • What makes a great Exsilio employee? Someone that is open to collaboration. Exsilio has a great open working environment and is very team orientated. Someone who has an open mind and is ready to bounce ideas off one another will really excel here!
  • What has been your favorite experience at Exsilio? We have done some fun morale activities in the last few months, but one of my favorites was on Halloween. More than half of the office dressed up in different onesies and enjoyed a delicious potluck!
  • What are some of your hobbies/interests outside of work? I have recently caught the travel bug and was able to travel to France and Colombia this year. I’m excited to see where my next adventure takes me. I also love to volunteer and give back to the community, I have been part of the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization for over 2 years and mentor a 10-year-old girl.
  • What is your favorite activity to do in Orange County? I'm a big Disney fan, so I always find myself at Disneyland. I also enjoy watching sports, specifically hockey, so I love going to the Honda Center or to a dive bar to watch a game.
  • Food that you can’t live without? Any Italian food! Give me a bowl of pasta, parmesan cheese and some garlic bread and I am a happy camper.
  • If you were to plan your dream vacation, where would you be going? I have always wanted to go to Italy! I would love to travel to different areas of the country trying all the different types of wine (and food, of course!).
  • Favorite Game (board or video)? Mario Kart – N64 😊

Any thoughts?
