How would you explain your role here at Exsilio to a stranger? Ok hmmm. I work on building web based applications. I work mostly on user interface so I make things easy to use! It supports customer needs.

What does a typical work day look like for you? I will pick up a task regarding module development. I will develop user interface for a customer or for the application based on the requirement. Currently I am using a lot of AngularJS and Bootstrap front end, and C# in the back end. I also drink tea/coffee throughout the day and eat the snacks that Exsilio provides. My coworkers and I like to step away every once in a while just to hang out and chit chat.

What aspects of your job do you enjoy the most? Every time there is a new technology, I have to learn and experience it! I will get some kind of task that is being done in a new framework or technology. I have to learn that tool/technology in order to perform that task. It helps me keep my skills sharp! I have learned almost all of my technology skills here at Exsilio because I actually get to implement everything that I am learning (e.g. Using Agile).

What is the most valuable lesson you have learned so far at Exsilio? ***Begin laughter*** Time! Time is the most valuable thing here. Also make things fun, and provide lots of feedback to your teammates so that everyone can keep progressing. Teamwork is really important.

What makes a great Exsilio employee? You have to always be open minded to learn something new. That is the basic requirement because there is always something new here.

What has been your favorite experience at Exsilio? My favorite experience so far here at Exsilio was when our entire office went to a Seattle Sounders soccer game. Everyone was there and we all got to hang out. It was really fun. It was also really cool being able to hang out with everyone, no matter what level they are in the company.

What are some of your hobbies/interests outside of work? I love Sci-fi movies and animation movies. My favorite animation movie is Kung Fu Panda! They always give me some sort of new perspective outside of what you are used to or have seen in the past. Also, I love getting together with my friends.

What is your favorite activity to do in the Greater Seattle area? We have some amazing parks, and I love to take walks in them. I have gone to some really interesting parks.

Food that you can’t live without? Mine is called Enjera. It is like a flat bread and you are able to put different curry or sauces on it. No spoon or fork needed! Whenever there is a holiday, I make sure that I am eating it!

If you were to plan your dream vacation, where would you be going? I think I would be going to Hawaii. Everyone says that it is awesome and I want to see it myself!

Favorite Game (board or video )? I love all types of strategy game. Age of Empires is one game that I played a lot of!
