- What was your major? Computer Science
- How would you explain your role here at Exsilio to a stranger? Oh man, what do I do?.. My role is to work within a team to gather requirements from stakeholders, build out tasks, and develop web applications from those tasks.
- What does a typical work day look like for you? I come in, clock in, check my email. Then I organize the tasks that I am going to work on for the day. I try to set a few goals that I want to accomplish each day. Then it is coding for the rest of the day!
- What aspects of your job do you enjoy the most? I really like the variety of being able to work on different projects. I get to learn many different technologies in an effort to solve our client’s problems.
- What is the most valuable lesson you have learned so far at Exsilio? Take calculated risks. I can’t be afraid to fail. It is not something you always want to do, but without taking risks, you will not learn.
- What makes a great Exsilio employee? Someone that is open and an effective communicator. And you need to be a team player!
- What has been your favorite experience at Exsilio? I really liked the Christmas party this past year. I had never been at that restaurant before and it was a really fun experience.
- What are some of your hobbies/interests outside of work? I love camping. Watching my kids experience new things. My favorite place to camp locally is Big Bear & Joshua Tree.
- What is your favorite activity to do in the Orange County area? Going to the beaches and finding new places to eat.
- Food that you can’t live without? I can’t live without Kimchi! I get sick if I go too long without it.
- If you were to plan your dream vacation, where would you be going? I think it would have to be to Asia. Visiting several different countries in Asia.
- Favorite Game (board or video )? Soldier of Fortune 2. It is an old school video game.
- Favorite Sport? I got to go with football. My favorite team is my fantasy team. I am loyal to no actual team!
- What is one interesting fact about yourself? I always secretly wished to be an eating competition professional.
