  • Full Name: Neetu Kaur
  • Job Title: Office Coordinator

  • When did you join Exsilio? October 2015
  • Hometown: Monterrey, CA
  • Alma Mater: University of Washington. Go Huskies!
  • What was your major? Sociology
  • How would you explain your role here at Exsilio to a stranger? I manage the daily operations of our co-working space, Orange Studios. I work with members, handle technical issues, set up and coordinate events. Every day is a little different!
  • What does a typical work day look like for you? I don’t think there is a typical day. I need to be ready to do anything. I can go from working on the printers, to giving tours to perspective new members. There is never a boring moment, and I love it!
  • What aspects of your job do you enjoy the most? I really enjoy interacting with the members in Orange Studios. I love providing them with the connections that they need to help their start-ups grow.
  • What is the most valuable lesson you have learned so far at Exsilio? Patience and staying calm in stressful situations. Juggling multiple things can get overwhelming if you let it. Also rely on other members of your team when you need them. Should out to Eric, Andrew, and Nate for always being there to help!
  • What makes a great Exsilio employee? Everyone here wears many different hats and needs to be flexible. The person needs to be a team player.
  • What has been your favorite experience at Exsilio? Being able to work with the awesome co-workers and managers. I have been able to learn so much from working with everyone. When I started, I lacked confidence in many areas, but that has changed while being here. Oh.. and the cruise was awesome!
  • What are some of your hobbies/interests outside of work? Keeping up with GOT (game of thrones), hiking, lifting, and learning how to cook healthy dishes. I want to open up my own fit café one day!
  • What is your favorite activity to do in the Greater Seattle area? Exploring the city, especially Pike place and all those weird, magical underground shops that they have.
  • Food that you can’t live without? Sorry, it needs to be two. Chocolate cake and coffee. I can’t live without coffee!
  • If you were to plan your dream vacation, where would you be going? I would most likely start with Santorini Greece. I love Greek food and the place seems to be amazing.
  • Favorite Game (board or video)? I love to play chess. I can kick some butt! I was in chess club in middle school.

Any thoughts?
