  • What was your major? Electrical Engineering - but I was passionate about the software side!
  • How would you explain your role here at Exsilio to a stranger? I work as a web application developer providing expertise to the stakeholders. I use my knowledge to help them solve app development problems.
  • What does a typical work day look like for you? We follow SCRUM so the day begins with a daily standup to go over previous day, the current days tasks, and then I will start working on the tasks at hand! Most of the day is coding and attending meetings (sprint planning, retrospective, sprint reviews, demos, and internal Exsilio meetings)
  • What aspects of your job do you enjoy the most? The project that I am working on allows me to use all new technologies, which is exactly what I love to do. Also, my team is amazing and I love being able to work with them every day.
  • What is the most valuable lesson you have learned so far at Exsilio? I think learning the importance of communication. Communication with our stakeholders and within the team is the difference between success and failure.
  • What makes a great Exsilio employee? Someone who is eager to learn! Also someone who is a great communicator and willing to take on new and different tasks. Being a small company makes it imperative that we all wear a lot of hats!
  • What has been your favorite experience at Exsilio? I got the opportunity to work with Microsoft stakeholders, which is something that I always wanted to do. Also, our company gets awesome holiday gifts!
  • What are some of your hobbies/interests outside of work? I love to travel with family, watch movies, and I like to play badminton.
  • What is your favorite activity to do in Seattle? I love to travel in different places and check out the tourist spots. Woodland Park Zoo is a great place that my family and I love to go.
  • Food that you can’t live without? I have a lot of favorite foods! I love all Indian vegetarian snacks and love veggie pizza.
  • If you were to plan your dream vacation, where would you be going? I have not visited Europe so it would probably be there. I would ride the Euro rail and travel all around!!
  • Favorite Game (board or video)? I like to play fruit ninja on my phone. I do not play any complicated games! For board games, I like to play monopoly.
